Melissa McKeithen

Vice President

Melissa grew up in North Carolina, raised her family in Connecticut, and fell in love with Montana 20 years ago. She moved to Big Sky full time in 2021.

After graduating from law school at The College of William and Mary, Melissa’s legal practice included advocacy for children and families. After leaving private practice, Melissa served as a board member of several non-profits focused on supporting and empowering at-risk youth, including Kids in Crisis (Greenwich, CT), BuildOn (Stamford, CT), REACH Prep (Stamford, CT) and Graham Windham (New York, NY). She also volunteered for Lawyers for Children America representing children in abuse and neglect cases. These experiences gave her an understanding of the challenges faced by at-risk youth and an appreciation of the impact we can make in the lives of young people through education, mentoring and opportunity.

Melissa loves the outdoor lifestyle in Montana. Some of her favorite pastimes are hiking, playing golf, snowshoeing and downhill skiing.
