Park Rules
The park is open to BYEP authorized participants only: We'd love for you to join our Skate Squad — members of the public may use the park after providing a signed waiver to BYEP! Fill out the waiver below, contact BYEP at info@byep.org for details, or visit our office during the day to sign up. It’s totally free, and allows you to use the park from dawn until dusk.
Once you sign the waiver, you’ll get a BYEP Skate Squad sticker for your skateboard or helmet!
Alcohol, drugs and smoking are strictly prohibited: No person may use the park if under the influence of alcohol or drugs. BYEP is a nonprofit committed to helping the young people of our community reach their full potential. Please respect our mission and remain sober while using the park.
Use of the park may result in serious injury or even death: All persons using the park do so at their own risk. BYEP and the owner of this property are not responsible for any accidents or injuries. Please be careful and have fun.
Helmets are required: Elbow pads, knee pads and wrist guards are strongly recommended. Think about it—the safer you are, the longer you can skate!
The park area is for skateboarding, rollerblading, and non-motorized scooters: No bikes or motor vehicles are allowed. Unfortunately the weight of bikes and motorized vehicles will damage it, making it less fun for everyone.
Weather Warning: Don’t use the park when the surface is wet, icy or slippery, or when it’s snowing or raining. Not only are you likely to get hurt, it’s bad for the park and your gear to use it when the park is wet!
Please keep the park area clean: There’s garbage and recycling nearby. Litter and graffiti are prohibited.
Be safe, respectful and have fun: Know your abilities and act accordingly.
