Wendy Wigert
Treasurer
Wendy’s passion has always been with organizations focusing on empowering youth, community building, and fighting poverty. She grew up in Ohio, and lived in Boston before moving to Montana in 1993. Wendy has worked as the Vice President of Finance and Operations with Montana Conservation Corps (MCC) since December 1995.
Before working at MCC, Wendy was the Business Manager for a youth group home and served as the Financial Director for a nonprofit which managed over 50 different grants. She worked with Ernst and Whinney obtaining her Certificate of Public Accounting before specializing in nonprofit management. Wendy is currently a board member with the Montana Higher Education Student Assistance Corporation (MHESAC) and the Montana Girls STEM Collaborative Project.
Wendy previously served with Family Promise, the Corps Network, Greater Gallatin United Way, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Child Care Connections, and the Bozeman Youth Initiative.
Wendy has two young adult children. She enjoys hiking with her dog Pepper, cooking, reading, art, and volunteering. Creating community is a core value of hers.
