Finding Our Flow
This week at BYEP…
9th graders began their week with a trip to Headwaters State Park where they spent time by the Missouri river and exploring the trails. In their in-person workshops during the week, they learned about Environmental Wellness and volunteered at the Gallatin Valley Food Bank.
10th graders adventured at Lewis and Clark Caverns Sate Park on Sunday where they got to tour the large underground cave system. During workshops, they also explored the idea of Environmental Wellness by learning about ways their environment takes care of them and how they take care of their environment.
11th graders began their week with an online yoga workshop with BYEP founder Pete, and continued with online curriculum throughout the week learning about Physical Wellness and exploring one of BYEP’s core values being “Committed to Growth.”
12th graders also did yoga with Pete and then dove into learning more about Future Wellness and creating a “Roadmap to Independence” in their online workshops.
